A graduate of Eastern Michigan University, Ren began his professional career in Saline at Hoover Universal. Ren’s management experience includes: President of Midtown Properties, VP of Administration at Bioimage and Financial Manager and Corporate Auditor at Hoover Universal.
Ren began his career in the real estate industry as President of Midtown Properties prior to becoming a Realtor in 1993. Ren’s wide-range of experience in management and the real estate industry have prepared him well as he takes on this new challenge as Sales Manager of the Saline office.

Saline Area Schools continue their tradition of excellence with five of the six schools in the 90th percentile of Michigan schools. Rankings, based on the Michigan Merit Exam and Michigan Educational Assessment Program (MEAP), were released by the Michigan Department of Education.

The streets of downtown Saline will come alive with an assortment of activities, attractions, and amusement for Saline’s Summerfest. People of all ages are welcome to join in the festivities on Friday, August 5th and Saturday, August 6th.
Summerfest 2011 will feature the traditional family-oriented food, music, and fun of Saline’s annual Picnic in the Park. In addition, Summerfest will also include a juried art and craft show, a trolley tour of Saline’s historical sites, Casino Night, and a 5K run/walk. Activities for the kids include a fishing contest, volleyball tournament, watermelon eating contest, egg toss contest, bean bag toss, face painting, and an inflatable obstacle course.
On Friday, Summerfest runs from 5pm – 11pm and Saturday, from 8am – 11pm.

Newsweek studied more than 1,000 of the top high schools across the nation to determine which schools were preforming well above the others in addition to preparing students not only for college, but for life. Saline High School was the only school in Washtenaw County to make the list with their highest ranking yet – 222nd. Among the 16 high schools in Michigan to make the list, Saline High School ranked 4th.

According to the Saline-Milan Patch, the Saline Area School district graduated 96% of its students on time and 97% of seniors enroll in college after graduation. In addition, the number of students taking AP courses has doubled from 400 to 800 in just a few years. The recent increase in the number of students taking AP courses is a major contributor to Saline’s recent jump in the ranking.
