Reinhart has partnered with Legacy Land Conservancy and Chelsea Center for the Arts to celebrate the achievement of land conservancy and inspire future conservation efforts through art. The Charles Reinhart Company has added a new feature to our website to make it easier for you to plan your Sunday Open Houses. Users are now able to search Sunday Open Houses and select which ones they would like to attend. A Map with step-by-step directions to each Open House is then available to print.
How to Map Open Houses:
- Visit ReinhartRealtors.com and search Open Houses, then choose which open houses you would like to attend. Click on “Add to Tour” in the top right corner if you are interested in attending the Open House. By doing so, you can compile all of the homes you are interested in touring in one place.
- After you have added all of the homes you are interested in touring you can view a map of all locations by clicking on “View Map & Print Route.”
- For driving directions, enter your starting address, check ‘fastest route’ and then click “Get Directions.” Google will give you step-by-step directions to each house you would like to tour, making it even easier to plan your Sunday.

Governor Rick Snyder recently addressed the legislature, outlining his plans to drastically reduce obesity across the state. In his address, Snyder cited the Chelsea-Area Wellness Foundation’s efforts to promote wellness through the work of the Five Healthy Towns Project.
The Five Healthy Towns Project (5H) is a groundbreaking project that involves planning and funding of community wide wellness. By creating a culture of wellness in these communities, in addition to the support of Chelsea Community Hospital, the goal of 5H is to make Chelsea, Dexter, Manchester, Grass Lake and Stockbridge the 5 healthiest communities in the Midwest.
To celebrate their efforts, 5H is hosting a 5 Healthy Towns Party on Sunday, September 25th at Chelsea High School from noon – 4pm. NBC’s The Today Show Nutritionist and author, Joy Bauer and award winning fitness coach and author John Calve will be in attendance. This free event will also include games and events centered around healthy eating and exercise.

The 74th Annual Chelsea Community Fair opened Tuesday with the Children’s Parade led down Main Street by the 2010 Chelsea Fair Queen, Kennedy Aldrich. Open through Saturday, August 27th, the Chelsea Community Fair promises to have something for everyone including livestock judging, crafts, exhibits and exhibitors, and games.
The daily cost to attend the fair is $7. Children 10 and younger are FREE. Senior citizens 65 and older may enjoy the fair for FREE on Thursday, and ladies pay only $5 before noon on Friday. Season passes are also available – $25 for adults and $15 for seniors and students with a high school or middle school ID. Below is a schedule of events from the Dexter Patch.
