Reinhart hosted our 4th Annual American Red Cross Blood Drive on Friday, February 10th, surpassing our goal of donors, including 5 first time donors.
Over the past four years, Reinhart has produced 131 pints of blood, which could benefit as many as 400 patients. With the current need for blood in Washtenaw County, the partnership between the Charles Reinhart Company, Realtors and the Washtenaw County Chapter of the American Red Cross to organize a blood drive has proved to be vital for our community.
Thank you to Ed Ridha for organizing the blood drive, Darby Kolano for coordinating the juice and baked good donations and to Pam Gurica for keeping records during the blood drive. A huge thank you goes out to all of the blood donors, baked goods and juice donors, and all of the on site volunteers.

The extreme winter weather all over the United States has forced the cancellation of 750 blood drives, resulting in a shortfall of more than 28,000 blood and platelet donations. With an extreme blood deficit, the Red Cross has created an incentive program in an effort to encourage more blood donations. Anyone who donates blood at the Reinhart Blood Drive on Friday, February 25 will automatically be eligible to win free groceries for a year*!
