The front runner from the very beginning of the week, Busch’s Fresh Food Market was voted Best Grocery Store in Washtenaw County by the readers of AnnArbor.com. Trader Joe’s was voted second, followed closely behind by Hiller’s, who took third place.
Busch’s is an independent supermarket chain based right here in Ann Arbor. Busch’s fresh deli, bakery, meat, seafood, and produce departments are complemented by the variety of items found in the grocery aisles. Recognized as an industry leader by Store Equipment and Design Magazine, the newer stores include café areas for shoppers to enjoy freshly brewed coffee.

The voters of AnnArbor.com’s weekly Best Of contest voted Ypsilanti’s Sidetrack Bar & Grill the best place to get a burger in Washtenaw County. Krazy Jim’s Blimpy Burger finished the week in second place and Casey’s Tavern received an honorable third place.
This isn’t the first time Sidetrack Bar & Grill has been recognized for their signature burger. GQ Magazine named Sidetrack’s “Our Famous Burger” one of the “Twenty Hamburgers You Must Eat Before You Die” in 2005. The magazine article stated: “The closer you come to a college campus, the worse burgers get. Sidetrack Bar and Grill is an exception.”
